ManpowerGroup Revenue Analyst in Austin, Texas
Our client is seeking a Revenue Analyst to join their team. This role is in office 4 days per week and 1 day remote in Austin. This is a long-term 1+ year contract that could be contract to hire.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support the Global Revenue team as a point of contact and revenue accounting subject matter expert
Determine and document revenue accounting treatment for large sales transactions
Complete monthly deferred revenue journal entries
Prepare quarter-end deferred revenue reporting
Analyze revenue recognition assumptions and prepared summaries of findings and policy change (if necessary)
Prepare templates to facilitate efficient regional disclosure reporting
Provide timely support for quarterly and annual external reviews and audits
Maintain knowledge of accounting and reporting developments affecting revenue accounting and reporting
Who You Are: You use financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You represent own interests while being attentive to others’ interests as well.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet multiple conflicting deadlines
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance
Excellent communications skills and ability to guide the business in best revenue practices
Proven track record and a desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Self-starter, with a strong sense of ownership and customer focus
4-year degree in Finance or related area
2+ years’ accounting experience
Prior experience with ASC 606
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
CPA license or equivalent preferred
Proficient user of MS Office software, including MS Excel
Oracle and Tableau experience preferred
