Job Title: Lead Quality Technician

Job Description

Lead a group of workers to achieve Department and Company goals. Report all abnormalities detected. Keep records filed orderly and maintained at all times. Maintain QA areas to be auditable at all times for ISO and customer compliance. Ensure only certified QA inspectors work on product specifications and requirements. Ensure all shipment buy-off activities are conducted effectively and within the stipulated requirements. Review some business statistics. Determine and document any areas that may need improvement. Inspect and sample the entire manufacturing process. Review the current policies and improvise plans to improve upon the existing quality standards. Review and analyze the effectiveness of the modifications made. Ensure that all procedures within the company conform to health and safety regulations, financial policies, and legislation such as equal opportunity. Help the manager educate the sales and marketing departments regarding the specific requirements of clients.

Work Environment

1 Quality Tech 5, 6am-2:30pm M-F, $35/hr. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. Ability to handle small components.
