Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking Apprentice and Journeyman Plumbers for Phase 2 of the Capstone project at the Apple Campus in Austin. The selected candidates will work independently, so comprehensive knowledge of the trade is essential. The schedule is tight, requiring dedicated and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing systems.

  • Install plumbing systems according to specifications and relevant trade and building codes.

  • Work with pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.

  • Report to a trade supervisor.

  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

  • Work under close supervision.

Essential Skills

  • Plumbing installation experience (2-4 years in commercial settings).

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Experience with PVC piping and commercial construction.

  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems.

  • Apprentice plumber license.

  • OSHA 10 certification.

  • Possession of basic plumbing tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial building installations.

Work Environment

Our work environment values employees and fosters a culture of care and dedication. The project site is located at 6900 West Parmer Lane, Austin, Texas. The work schedule involves 6 days a week from 7 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility to work later if needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00/hr.
