Job Description

Bilingual HR Generalist

Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.

  1. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

  2. Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.

  3. Owns the unemployment process including representing the company for any unemployment claims.

  4. Facilitates or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.

  5. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.

  6. Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings.

  7. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements.

  8. Maintains working relationship with management/senior management and adheres to company policy and procedure by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.

  9. Represents management in investigating, answering and settling disputes, by arranging and scheduling between the employee and the supervisor and management team.

  10. Responds to all EEOC and NLRB charges.

  11. Conducts new-hire orientation.

  12. Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies. Including I9s and E-Verify

  13. Owns all aspects of the worker-s compensation process.

  14. Benefits administration for CM Management/The Charta Group and its DBAs.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.

  2. Two years of experience in human resource generalist role.

  3. . Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification or ability to obtain certification within 12 months.
