Huckberry Associate Merchandise Planner in Austin, Texas
Here at Huckberry our mission is to inspire and equip adventures near and far. Our business is growing rapidly and we are looking for an Associate Merchandise Planner to add to our crew. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that is obsessed with data and influences the day-to-day decisions of the Product Team.
This role will work closely with Merchandisers and Buyers to help execute seasonal strategies. We’re looking for someone to assist in building and tracking seasonal plans and drive the day-to-day function of reading and reacting to the business to hit key revenue, margin, and inventory targets. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, an entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow in the Planning field.
This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire.
Responsibilities
Maintain the Planning Team suite of reports and disseminate to stakeholders
Manage inventory markdown process, execution, and timed events
Weekly tracking of OTB in designated areas
Provide analysis and make recommendations to achieve goals
Providing analytical and operational support to all business channels
Maintain product attribution to ensure data integrity
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a planning, allocation, or buying function, preferably e-commerce
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
Very strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in forecasting and working in an Open to Buy
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
