About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven individual to join our Utility Operations team. As part of the engineering staff, you will prepare engineering plans, manage projects, and communicate for electric, gas, and water transmission and distribution projects. You will also assist in establishing departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives. Maintaining personal and professional integrity in alignment with our mission and values is essential.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in electrical design software
strong understanding of electrical principles and practices, including circuit design, power distribution, and control systems.
Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
Analytical Skills: strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Project Management: Oversee electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into broader projects.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including technical reports, user manuals, and maintenance guidelines for electrical systems.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems meet safety regulations and compliance standards, adhering to best practices in electrical engineering.
