What You Will Be Doing:
As the Inventory Control Analyst, you will analyze inventory reports and take appropriate action to place stock order to assigned vendors. This position is responsible for issuing/reconciling POs against vendor stock orders, performing periodic audits of open orders, and analyzing reports such as add to stock, returns, and overstock.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze inventory reports and take appropriate action to place stock orders to assigned Vendors.
Issue / Reconcile POs against vendor stock orders
Perform periodic audits of open orders to insure a clean, accurate file is maintained
Assist with special projects, special parts orders, surplus return, and physical inventories.
Analyze reports including add to stock, returns, overstock
Monitor all parts operations reports including No-Locs, open stock & open transfers.
Monitor lead time for stock orders from Vendors.
Support branches and internal customers.
Inventory receivables account reconciliation.
Consult and advise store, sales, and leadership regarding inventory performance and metrics.
Demonstrate proficiency and interpreting inventory trends and analysis in order to assist in decision making or improvement projects.
Basic Reporting functions including running queries, interpreting data, supplying / supporting leadership with the results.
Other duties as assigned and qualified
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in materials management, operations or inventory control. You should be a critical thinker, able to lead by example, be comfortable with making decisions, show initiative, and be a problem solver.
Education/Experience:
Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree.
2 years customer service experience.
Some parts or service experience a plus.
Previous inventory management experience preferred.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate information in an understandable, clear and concise method. Must be able to ask questions, answer questions, and properly respond to questions for individuals and groups including managers and customers in a professional and comfortable manner.
Knowledge of office computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Candidate must be very organized and detail oriented; job entails time sensitive tasks; must be proficient with planning and prioritizing workload.
