As an industrial engineer - a crucial role in optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency within manufacturing settings. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing overall productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in production processes and develop strategies to optimize workflow, minimize waste, and increase throughput.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Cost Reduction: Evaluate production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, resource optimization, and automation.
Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline material flow, minimize inventory levels, and improve delivery schedules.
Capacity Planning: Forecast production demands and develop capacity plans to meet customer requirements while optimizing resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive efficiency and innovation.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks in production processes and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with safety regulations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, quality assurance, and management to implement process improvements and achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
4 to 7 years of experience in industrial engineering roles within manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in process optimization techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Total Quality Management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and manufacturing simulation tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Project management experience.
Automation & digitalization exposure
Experience MOST and Time study
Certification in Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing.
