Robert Half Office Manager in Augusta, Georgia

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. This Contract position offers the opportunity to oversee daily office operations, support human resources functions, and manage administrative tasks with precision. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for senior leadership, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

• Organize and manage Board and subcommittee meetings, including preparing materials, arranging logistics, and recording minutes.

• Facilitate the hiring process by screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting pre-employment screenings such as background checks and reference verifications.

• Maintain employee records, coordinate onboarding processes, and produce identification badges for new hires.

• Liaise with IT vendors to address employee system needs, including setup for new hires and resolving technical issues.

• Administer employee benefits, including annual open enrollment and ongoing updates in collaboration with insurance brokers.

• Issue performance appraisal reminders to supervisors and oversee compliance with training requirements.

• Process payroll changes, update HR databases, and maintain accurate records of employee data.

• Handle workers’ compensation claims by coordinating appointments, tracking reports, and facilitating communication between employees and claims administrators.

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, vendor communication, and ensuring timely cycle closures. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.

• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions.

• Familiarity with human resources administration, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for preparing meeting materials and recording minutes.

• Knowledge of employee benefits administration and compliance with training and appraisal requirements.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Customer service skills to address employee needs and liaise with external vendors. TalentMatch®
