Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) provides comprehensive HR support to internal client groups, partnering closely with management to ensure alignment with departmental and company objectives. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs, as well as managing the day-to-day administration of HR processes. The HRG plays a key role in enhancing employee engagement, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Apply working knowledge of HR disciplines, including compensation, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and employment law.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and workforce needs.

  • Communicate proactively with the HR team and business leaders, developing and implementing integrated HR solutions.

  • Conduct regular meetings with business units to understand financial goals, long-term strategies, culture, and competitive dynamics.

  • Provide onboarding support and day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve workplace relationships, build morale, and enhance retention.

  • Identify training and development needs , designing and executing targeted coaching programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Preferred PHR or SHRM-CP Certification.

  • 2+ years of working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws, diversity.

  • Ability to solve and moderately complex problems, collect and analyze complicated data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Thorough understanding in Human Resource Management, leadership, change management, and communications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results oriented.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Self-starter.

  • Expertise in Workday preferred.

  • Knowledge of the medical device industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics preferred.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
