D&W Diesel, Inc. Information Technology Specialist in Auburn, New York
D&W is looking for an Information Technology Specialist for our corporate facility in Auburn, NY. This position will provide the company with information technology support to optimize operational efficiency and systems security.Job Responsibilities:•Analyze and develop specifications for new software applications. •Work with operating departments to determine their needs for system enhancements.•Install and update company software and hardware as needed.•Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.•Maintain a multi-site enterprise level WAN. •Manage and maintain the Microsoft DHCP, WSUS and DNS servers. •Monitor security certificates and company compliance of industry requirements.•Handle business logic relevant to integrating outside software and hardware that relate to company systems.Job Requirements:•Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.•Keen attention to detail.•Good organization, time management, and prioritization.•Efficient troubleshooting abilities.•Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening.•Knowledge of networking, Window’s operating systems, and Microsoft O365.•Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and focus despite conflicting demands.•2 or 4 year degree in Computer Science or other related field.
