**Talascend is currently seeking a Wiring Technician for a contract opportunity located in Auburn Hills, Michigan
OVERVIEW: **
The Wiring Technician is responsible to support the wiring of harnesses and electrical distribution systems and support the inter connection of control modules.
*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics.
- Root cause electrical wiring issues.
- Provide technical interface to the advanced wiring team.
- Attend design reviews/coordination meetings.
*REQUIREMENTS: *
- Automotive Wire Harness fabrication and modification.
- Use of multimeter, oscilloscope and other electrical troubleshooting tools.
- General computer skills.
- Outstanding communication and organization skills.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
*DESIRED: *
- Associates in in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Vocational training or certification.
- EDS component experience.
- CAN Communication Tool Experience: Vector CANAlyzer.
- Skills: Automotive Electrical.
