The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing support services to the Regional Sales Team

Key responsibilities

  • Administrator, Subject Matter Expert for Sales Intelligence Management System (SIMS) and Global Quotation System (GQS)

  • Initiates all Contract/PO approval process workstreams in compliance with processes/procedures

  • Maintains site and content, capturing team RFQ’s, Quotes, and contracts

  • Regional LRP coordinator, supporting team with necessary system inputs and generating necessary business reports for analysis by the team

  • Coordinates pre-production orders and customer payments

  • Represents the business unit to our customer in a highly professional and ethical manner

  • Ensures self-compliance with contract review procedures and business unit commercial policies

  • Supports select internal sales related projects and/or organizational efforts

  • Provides administrative services to the regional sales team

  • Act as coordinator for inquiries received through company's public website, directs to proper Sales members to address.

    What we’re looking for

  • Formal business school, Associates degree, or equivalent experience

  • Reliable person, whom can be counted on to support activities on-time with high quality

  • Action & results oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks given dynamic business needs

  • Excellent communication skills. Able to clearly articulate key messages with sound rationale

  • Strong attention to detail, holding both internal/external stakeholders accountable on key deliverables

  • Builds strong relationships enabling the influence of people both internal & external to the organization
