Job Duties:
Manage overall purchasing activities of various materials for manufacturing of automotive parts including suspension modules, fuel tank modules, pedal modules, and eco modules. Direct negotiation with vendors in purchasing of raw materials, equipment, or supplies, and direct interview process to determine product availability and terms of sales. Evaluate price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable bidding prices. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures to coordinate overall purchasing activities. Direct preparation of financial documents illustrating purchasing costs and trends to forecast future revenues and expenses to ensure maximum profitability. Review and authorize various documentation regarding purchasing activities, such as purchase orders, supplier contracts, invoice, memos, quotations, specifications, schedules, to convey information regarding the procurement activities. Review and finalize all purchasing orders and contracts to ensure conformance to policies and standards. Build and manage strong and positive long-term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.
