We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met. This position requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with different materials, including sheet metal and piping.
Duties:
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using welding techniques. Perform pipe threading and soldering as required for specific projects. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as calipers and forklifts to complete tasks efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of welding processes. Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations. Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
