Overview

IGT is looking for a motivated web-savvy professional to be responsible for driving the strategic direction and day-to-day business operations associated with the management of the iLottery channels and associated microsites, mobile app and landing pages. In this role, the individual will be accountable for creating graphics for all interactive components, setting product and feature requirements based on customer feedback and ultimately growing revenue.We are looking for someone with passion, energy, intellect and drive that can bring fresh ideas, an analytical mind & attention to detail to a growing portfolio of interactive products for the Georgia Lottery.

Job Responsibilities

The Content Manger position will be focused on optimizing the customer experience on the Georgia Lottery Website experience. This will include developing and optimizing website content and identifying unique and creative ways to profitably engage customers on the website. The Content Manager will also partner with the research and technology teams to create a framework for using Customer Insights to identify opportunities to enhance content and improve the overall website experience for target customers.

The Content Manager will be responsible for managing the Georgia Lottery’s online presence and driving relevant, quality sales leads through search, links, email, forms and content. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, SEO, email campaigns, online lead generation, and site management.

In addition to writing, editing and proofreading site content, this position will also be responsible for linking strategies and managing content proliferation online through content social media, and the development of landing pages to drive lead generation.

• Look to continuously improve the online experiences of this target audience through product innovations, site enhancements, marketing campaigns and creative content; stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment and adjust the strategy accordingly• Design and development of the website through suggestions from the team, with a particular focus on the ways in which the goals for the site and the needs of users can be met through the use of appropriate content.• Manage site content through CMS system.• Online content coordination and planning schedule the creation/acquisition of content.• Website content creation and reallocation for use across multiple areas of the site (FAQs, content, resources) and online communication mediums including blogs, e-newsletters, forums, advertising, 3rd parties and social media outlets.• Manage and design web forms.• Communicate and nurture site traffic and targeted prospects through coordinated email nurture campaigns driving prospects to the website.• Edit copy received from additional content contributors.• Develop website promotion using metadata and other methods to optimize search engine positions.• Ensure the site is listed in relevant indexes and directories• Content maintenance through updates and controlled dissemination of time-sensitive materials• Evaluate site performance by compiling and analyzing website usage statistics• Write copy, produce content and repurpose materials optimized for the web and consistent with the Georgia Lottery Brand Voice; create content in a variety of formats including web copy, social media posts, blogs, online contests, interactive graphics, videos, podcasts, and email communications

Skills & Experience

  • Entrepreneurially-minded self-starter with an innate creativity who instinctively takes ownership of a project; a detail oriented person with the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and who has a tendency to over-deliver on expectations

  • 3 -5 years of relevant online experience – e.g. social media, website, public relations, community management, online content management and/or advertising

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or related communications field desired

  • Proven editorial, content editing and copy writing skills with experience writing for the web and/or social channels

  • Understanding of web design, information architecture, web usability, web analytics tools and search engine optimization desired
