Americold Logistics LLC Sr Financial Analyst, Commercial - 54954_cp in Atlanta, Georgia
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the development of costing and pricing models for warehousing and value added service solution proposals that support company's revenue growth and profitability improvement. Utilize financial acumen and analytical skills to develop and maintain costing and pricing models for new and existing business. Partner with other internal functions to develop best-in-class proposals
Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, IT, FPandA, PMO, Transport, etc.) on understanding customer operations and obtaining detailed cost estimates in order to develop commercial terms and pricing new business proposals; Develop and calculate pricing structures for new and existing customers
Prepare Investment Memos, pricing simulations, and high-level pricing summaries to facilitate internal discussions with management and executive leadership
Lead and organize pricing review meetings and collaboration among various departments; Analyze, create, and adjust customer profitability reports
Support the development of pricing strategies and partner with business development and other departments to deliver value to our customers and shareholders
Prepare accurate and professional cost estimates, pricing, and financial analyses for customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) packages, sales proposals, and Americold capital investment proposals
Maintain and utilize internal pricing tools, costing models, and exploration of new pricing methodologies; Develop business cases using financial modeling techniques to support client proposals and internal initiatives
Provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making support for key business activities; Utilize data reporting tools such as BPC, SAP, Microsoft Power BI, and other tools as necessary to deliver data-driven decisions to senior management
Lead in reporting and analysis of key performance metrics and provide findings and recommendations to achieve strategic objectives
Develop and calculate pricing structures for new and existing customers.
What Experience and Education You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics
3 years in financial analysis, pricing, or a logistics-related role
Highly proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and take on ownership of projects; Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and strategically
Experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling; Ability to commercialize and evaluate deals and projects
Possess good understanding of supply chain elements, particularly warehousing, associated costs and a transactional pricing environment
Proven ability to communicate and present complex data in a persuasive and consultative manner; Requires proven success at creating persuasive proposals and presentations
Strong project management to meet aggressive deadlines; Ability to partner with teams in all areas of the company to ensure implementation and maintenance of the highest standard
What Could Set You Apart :
MBA and/or certifications a plus
Proficiency in BPC, SAP, Power BI, SQL/Access and Visio are a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment of positively changing expectations and culture; Progressive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Must enjoy discussing and/or documenting project scope, approaches, and status updates; Must be business savvy, possess financial acumen and demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal
