As a Senior Advanced Cyber Security Architect/ Engineer, you will be a part of the Honeywell Connected Enterprise Product Security team. You will support HCE software engineering teams on cloud architecting best practices. You will be expected to provide guidance and hands-on experience to teams in design, development, and maintenance of security solutions for AWS cloud, including cloud security policies, standards and procedures. This includes access management, network management, data protection, password/key management, and vulnerability/threat management.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sr Cloud Security Architect will drive the security strategy and provide input into cloud security patterns to build and maintain a Zero Trust architecture foundation

  • Create and maintain cloud security policies and drive compliance MOS with development stakeholders

  • Work closely with DevOps to ensure the Cloud is built securely using IaC and manage cloud security posture management via policy enforcement

  • Partner with development teams across product lines to drive security requirements, practices, and participate in thorough security reviews of products

  • Drive secure engagement and architecture including threat modeling, vulnerability and risk assessment, analysis of findings various security tooling

  • Drive growth and innovation within a culture of Zero Trust security, technology, research, development, and engineering functions by facilitating an environment of teamwork and desire to be the best

Must be US Citizen or Green card holder

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • Demonstrated capability to deploy industry standard security frameworks for cloud hosted SaaS products

  • Scripting(Python/Shell/KQL) for automating security analysis and compliance

8+ Years of Software Engineering/DevOps Experience with at least 3+ Years in Security Architecture

  • 3+ Years supporting/securing AWS Cloud hosted SaaS products

  • In Depth expertise of Secure Software Development Lifecycle, key management, IAM, network security, and cryptography for cloud environments

  • Strong ability to communicate with both and technical and non-technical team members

  • Excellent presentation skills to facilitate security workshops to technical team members

Azure/AWS certifications

WE VALUE:

  • Extensive experience of Cloud DevSecOps/SDLC/Agile

  • Industrial Software Experience

  • Masters in Engineering or Computer Science
