Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Sr. Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Functional Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience in SAP FICO and related modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Taxation SAP Cost Center Accounting SAP Profit Center Accounting SAP New GL SAP Internal Orders SAP Classic GL SAP Credit Management SAP Profitability Analysis SAP Product Costing SAP Automatic Payments SAP Accounts Receivable SAP Accounts Payable SAP Asset Management and SAP FI. The candidate should also have domain experience

Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.

· Oversee the integration of SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

· Provide expertise in SAP Taxation ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.

· Manage SAP Cost Center Accounting to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.

· Implement SAP Profit Center Accounting to track and analyze profitability by business unit.

· Configure SAP New GL to enhance financial reporting and streamline accounting processes.

· Administer SAP Internal Orders to manage project costs and budgets effectively.

· Maintain SAP Classic GL for accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.

· Oversee SAP Credit Management to optimize credit control and minimize risk.

· Utilize SAP Profitability Analysis to provide detailed insights into product and customer profitability.

· Implement SAP Product Costing to accurately determine product costs and support pricing decisions.

· Manage SAP Automatic Payments to streamline payment processes and improve cash flow.

· Oversee SAP Accounts Receivable and SAP Accounts Payable to ensure efficient management of receivables and payables.

· Administer SAP Asset Management to track and manage company assets effectively.

· Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to ensure optimal use of SAP FICO modules.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

· Ensure that all SAP FICO configurations and customizations adhere to best practices and company policies.

· Conduct regular system audits and reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance.

· Prepare and present detailed reports on financial performance and system usage to senior management.

· Stay updated with the latest SAP developments and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.

· Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks both remotely and on-site.

· Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

· Contribute to the companys purpose by enhancing financial processes and supporting business growth.

· Impact society by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

· Must have extensive experience in SAP FICO and related modules.

· Should have strong expertise in SAP Taxation SAP Cost Center Accounting and SAP Profit Center Accounting.

· Must be proficient in SAP New GL SAP Internal Orders and SAP Classic GL.

· Should have experience in SAP Credit Management SAP Profitability Analysis and SAP Product Costing.

· Must be skilled in SAP Automatic Payments SAP Accounts Receivable and SAP Accounts Payable.

· Should have experience in SAP Asset Management and SAP FI.

· Must have domain experience in Engineering & Design and Industrial Manufacturing.

· Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

· Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between 138,000 - 162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
