Job Overview

Salary Range: $70K-$73.6K

Fully remote position 

As the Sales Development Representative, the following duties and responsibilities will be part of this opportunity, but are not limited to them:

The Sales Development Representative plays a fundamental role in helping achieve our sales targets and drive our growth objectives. Supporting several National Sales Executives, you will collaborate to build pipeline to acquire new clients, following up on leads and generating outbound opportunities you uncover through your own outreach.  Our ideal candidate is comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest in our service offerings, qualifying prospects, and partnering with Sales to progress opportunities through the pipeline.  Developing effective proposals and prospect presentations and working closely with your sales partner as deals develop are key parts of the role and require someone who is an effective communicator. As the largest privately held facility services provider in North America, we have a fast-paced environment and a growing sales team.

The person who would best fit this role is a self-starter, is able to work independently, is coachable and a team player. This role is part of the Sales Development Representative team, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Development.

  • Build relationships, and explore client needs and requirements as you build pipeline in an assigned territory.

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

  • Continually research accounts, identify key players and build an understanding of the market in your assigned territory.

  • Qualify prospects, learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections.

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure.

  • Partner closely with Sales Executives to help move along qualified pipeline through the sales cycle.

  • Work with Sales Executives on sales proposals and prospect presentations, coordinating with other supporting teams including Pricing, RFP support, and Strategic Account Management.

  • Meet weekly metrics to grow revenue in an assigned territory, including outbound calls, virtual meetings, and email outreach.

  • Build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders.

    Requirements for our Sales Development Representative:

  • At least 3-5 years of business development and/or commercial inside sales experience.

  • Strong prospecting skills and the ability to develop business in new and existing accounts.

  • Experience being held to metrics and consistently achieving targets.

  • Problem solver with a desire to work in a fast paced, team-lead environment.

  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

  • Self-starter with a growth mindset.

  • Comfortable using technology to improve your efficiency, and proficient in Microsoft Office.  Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, ZoomInfo or similar contact databases.  Revenue Intelligence platform experience a plus.

  • Associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
