Job Title: Safety Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. This role requires being on-site and in the field to ensure the safety of all team members and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong past in safety plans, project management, and construction, with a focus on commercial projects. This is a full time position offering a salary of 80-100k, with an extensive benefits plan.
Responsibilities
Design comprehensive safety plans.
Conduct Tool Box Talks to address safety concerns.
Maintain and update OSHA logs.
Provide safety training to all team members.
Ensure all team members are up-to-date with required certifications.
Essential Skills
Strong experience in safety plans.
Experience in project management, construction, and commercial construction.
Proficiency in estimation related to safety measures.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within data centers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, education, manufacturing, or large commercial projects.
Familiarity with OSHA 30 certification.
Ability to maintain detailed safety logs.
Work Environment
You will be working on-site from a job trailer, primarily at a large data center project in Ellendale, MN. The work environment is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to safety management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
McGough offers Full Medical Dental and Vision as well as a 401K and profit Sharing. PTO and Holiday pay
