Carrington REMOTE Strategic Initiatives Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia
The Initiatives Strategic Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager function by engaging with the business to gather and document requirements, understand standard business processes, perform analysis, provide solution options, working with business subject matter experts to design, implement and support testing through project completion. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The Target Pay range for this position is $93,900.
Note to applicants: This position requires to reside near the Dallas/Plano, TX, or the Westfield, IN, and/or in the Nashville, TN area, since it will be required to travel to a Carrington office several times per year.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for gathering, designing, and documenting details for success including current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Involved throughout the solution development lifecycle as the requirements subject matter expert and is expected to take personal responsibility and ownership for the requirements and deliverable produced.
Assist the Project Manager with scope management, change management and solution definition.
Provide analysis, definition, and direction in support of the project activities.
Troubleshooting and addressing discrepancies between business operations and current company goals and objectives as expressed by executive leadership
Formulate use cases, track requirements, provide status and ensure quality of solution throughout the project.
Develops test cases and performs quality assurance testing and responsible for supporting business in user acceptance testing.
Work with business subject matter experts, vendors, consultants, and system administrators to develop solutions and communicate possible resolutions to the business
Works with business to meet project timelines, including working sessions and follow-ups
Act as the primary contact for technology, reporting, system integration and process related analysis throughout the solution development lifecycle
Create functional specifications for new or modified systems, reports and processes.
Participate in project communications, training materials, and business procedures/documentation.
Will be assigned to focus on projects supporting one or more functional area within the company or family of companies based on business needs.
Support and/or facilitate business user systems training as needed.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, information systems or analytical techniques preferred or equivalent work experience.
One (1) plus years doing business and data analysis with tools such as SQL, or other professional database management system tools.
One (1) to two (2) years mortgage, finance, or realty services industry experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of conducting business and data analysis with tools such as SQL, or other professional database management system tools.
Gained knowledge in mortgage servicing, mortgage origination, title and escrow, and real estate operations through rotating through each functional area.
Mortgage servicing and mortgage origination systems (i.e., Fiserv, MSP, Encompass360, etc.) knowledge is a plus.
A strong working knowledge using MS Office suite, especially Excel
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Solid presentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to learn and understand all aspects of the business process, key performance drivers, and operational report metrics.
Gain expert knowledge of the operational systems and utilization within the business process.
