Robert Half Public Relations Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are seeking a Public Relations Specialist to join our team in the Restaurant & Catering industry in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves coordinating PR campaigns, managing press inquiries, and maintaining organized records of PR activities. The position also requires collaboration with external agencies and internal teams to execute brand activation campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the PR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing the press inboxes.

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of PR materials to internal partners and external agencies.

• Maintain organized records of all PR activities and ensure all documentation is updated and accessible.

• Oversee the management and upkeep of the company’s newsrooms, including content scheduling, editing, and publishing.

• Collaborate with the PR team and corporate communications team to develop engaging and relevant blog content.

• Monitor blog analytics and provide regular reports on performance, suggesting improvements as needed.

• Support the execution of PR campaigns by coordinating logistics, tracking timelines, and managing project documentation.

• Liaise with external agencies and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

• Engage with various internal partners and agency partners to support the execution of brand activation campaigns.

• Facilitate smooth communication to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. Requirements • Proficiency in utilizing and managing databases

• Experience with EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

• Ability to create and manage advertisements

• Experience in enhancing brand awareness

• Proven track record in planning and executing successful PR campaigns

• Strong design skills, particularly related to marketing and promotional materials

• Experience in coordinating and implementing marketing activities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically

• Knowledge of the restaurant and catering industry is advantageous

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a related field. Innovation starts with people.®
