Waystar Performance Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Waystar is looking for an experienced Performance Analyst who is passionate about data and problem solving to join our Analytics team. The Performance Analyst will regularly manipulate large amounts of data to measure ROI and identify opportunities for our clients to improve performance. The Performance Analyst will also work closely with our Senior Business Analysts and Client Success Managers to dig through data to find solutions and create compelling visual presentations to communicate findings and enhance Waystar’s delivery of business insights to our growing client base.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Analyze client performance and identify opportunities for growth through rigorous data analysis

  • Support the creation of quarterly client presentations, reviewing past performance and identifying future opportunities

  • Use SQL to query and manipulate complex data

  • Participate in presentations of performance reviews to clients

  • Fulfill requests from clients for ad hoc analysis

  • Develop business intelligence reports to improve the efficiency of reporting

  • Leverage Waystar’s data assets to contribute to the development of industry insights and benchmarks

  • Communicate across multiple departments and management levels to collaborate in understanding, analyzing, and driving key projects

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor degree, preferably with a degree in an analytical field

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience performing data analysis in a business environment

  • Experience with SQL for complex projects and tasks required

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools a plus including Looker, Quicksight and PowerBI

  • Proven experience managing data, including data analysis and problem solving

  • Familiarity with the challenges of data extraction and manipulation of large data sets

  • Proven track record of results delivery and strong attention to detail, evident in both oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent work ethic with a strong commitment to quality

  • Healthcare experience a plus

  • Consulting background a plus
