We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. The Payroll Analyst will play a key role in preparing, processing, reconciling, and distributing payroll for approximately 6,000 multi-state exempt and non-exempt employees in North America. This role requires a deep understanding of the end-to-end payroll process, including audit reports, garnishment administration, employee support, and basic payroll tax support. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of experience with Workday. Please note that this position is set to start July 1st. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • 4-7 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.

  • 3+ years' experience with Workday is required.

  • Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

salary: $26 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

  • Enter data for payroll processing accurately and timely.

  • Run, distribute, and review audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Request funding for off-cycle payroll and payroll tax liabilities as needed.

  • Reconcile daily liabilities to outsourcing vendor's records.

Garnishment Administration:

  • Review withholding orders and ensure compliance.

  • Send orders to third-party vendors via their ticketing/case management site.

  • Manage garnishment orders in Workday, including agency responses and remittances.

Customer Service and Support:

  • Provide complete and accurate responses to routine employee inquiries.

  • Monitor payroll-related email accounts and respond promptly.

  • Fulfill requests for verifications of employment.

  • Review and resolve positive pay decisions and notices of change.

Miscellaneous:

  • Review, sort, and distribute correspondence from federal, state, and local agencies.

  • Coordinate the opening, closing, or maintenance of employment tax-related accounts.

  • Support ad hoc requests such as special projects, metrics and reporting, audit support, process documentation/improvements, etc.

  • Review and respond to inquiries from third-party vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Support the implementation of business solutions and collaborate with internal teams.
