Description
Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with strong tax law expertise to join a dynamic and fast-paced legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex litigation matters that often intersect with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Support: Assist attorneys by conducting legal research, managing case files, preparing discovery materials, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Tax Matters: Provide specialized support in cases involving tax controversies, including but not limited to compiling financial records, reviewing tax documentation, and analyzing issues related to compliance
Case Management: Organize large volumes of case information; maintain document databases for eDiscovery and e-filing purposes to ensure smooth legal processes
Client Communication: Assist in client interviews, gather information pertaining to litigation and tax issues, and serve as an intermediary between clients and attorneys
Compliance and Governance: Collaborate on compliance matters related to tax law and corporate governance issues

Requirements
Education: Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is required; bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field is preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a litigation paralegal, with experience in tax litigation or regulatory matters strongly preferred
Technical Skills: Proficient in legal research software, document management tools, and e-filing platforms. Familiarity with tax compliance systems and processes is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of case information effectively and accurately
Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a legal team and interact professionally with clients
