This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. Job summary:

As an Operations Program Manager, you will drive key operational initiatives and ensure smooth execution of critical processes for a fast-paced technology team. This role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Hiring & Workforce Management: Oversee headcount planning, track hiring progress, manage backfills and incremental positions, and report on hiring health weekly.

  • Executive Operations Call Management: Lead the SVP-level operations call for the team, ensuring all updates are gathered, reviewed, and presented accurately.

  • Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPAs): Track and manage CAPAs to ensure timely resolution and compliance.

  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Monitor and report on SLAs, ensuring adherence to defined performance metrics.

  • Security & Compliance: Manage Security Central tickets, ensuring visibility and timely resolution before deadlines.

  • Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements and serve as an escalation point for all issues and questions associated with operational efficiency.

  • Chief of Staff (COS) Requests: Handle and execute operational tasks and ad-hoc requests from the Chief of Staff.

  • General Operations Support: Drive additional operational initiatives as needed to support the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.

  • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.

  • Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.

  • Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.

  • Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation

  • Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.

  • Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.

  • 5+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry.

  • Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management, product design or related experience

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience

  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking

  • Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
