Inspire Brands Operations Performance & Innovation Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

The Manager of Operations Performance is a key member of the Inspire Company Restaurants (ICR) Operations Services & Innovation team. The primary purpose of the position is to deliver improvements in operations performance that increase the profitability of company restaurants. The Manager of Operations Performance is accountable for driving impact and action in food, labor, and middle of the P&L initiatives to control costs, increase efficiency, and improve profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for delivering improvements in key areas identified as having the opportunity to drive the most incremental profit for ICR, in partnership with above unit leadership.

  • Plan & conduct field restaurant visits to evaluate and support performance related to food, labor, and middle of the P&L initiatives.

  • Provide performance feedback to varying levels of above restaurant leadership.

  • Perform root cause analyses of underperformance in key controllable areas to identify opportunities to refine systems and processes that enhance the operations, team, and guest experiences of company restaurants.

  • Support a culture of high performance and accountability to deliver financial results that meet or exceed ICR Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including but not limited to supporting the hands-on learning and development of above unit leaders in opportunity markets.

  • Effectively lead across Inspire’s matrix organization to help provide solutions to identified opportunities.

  • Proactively share best practices across the organization to achieve industry leading results.

  • Communicate and collaborate with coworkers, management, operators, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Use decision-making and negotiation skills to drive performance.

  • Team orientation and positive attitude required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma / Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum High School or GED

  • Preferred 4 Year Degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Ability to lead others to action through influence.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the food industry, systems, and processes, and the impact it has on overall ease of operations and profitability.

  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements for food service execution and operations.

  • Ability to conform to Inspire Brands Business Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.

  • Ability to manage both project work and business as usual requirements without compromising on quality.

  • Maintains a sense of urgency to complete assignments.

  • Experience with operations measurement tools.

  • Ability to learn detailed operational knowledge within 60 days of hire.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to provide effective feedback and handle difficult conversations.

  • High degree of computer literacy along with highly advanced skills in the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
