Provides oversight and acts as liaison on technology initiatives/programs within multiple portfolios and/or LOBs at any given time. Work in an indirect capacity to coordinate and influence collaboration, reporting, and driving communication and outcomes of various initiatives. Provides key reporting and guidance to multiple LOBs to help facilitate data driven conversations and decisions. Activities include the preparation for, execution of and/or maintenance of: high, medium, and/or low-risk project management processes, project and/or program management process and/or portfolio management processes. Assist in completion of program/project activities to ensure successful implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, team members and service providers in collecting project status and information.

  • Remain aware of corporate technology, infrastructure, standards, processes, and strategic direction to use these tools to help guide the project in accomplishing project/program objectives.

  • Work closely with, and provide direction to, technology leads to support program needs.

  • Combine standard process knowledge and project/program experiences to contribute through leadership into planning and maintenance of each project event.

  • Ensure continuity of, and compliance with, governance requirements while also considering the unique factors and circumstances of each initiative.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, team members and service providers in collecting project status and information.

  • Remain aware of corporate technology, infrastructure, standards, processes, and strategic direction.

  • Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document, and communicate business needs.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies.

  • Support identifying, measuring, monitoring, and escalation of risks, including appropriate reporting and communication.

  • Utilize analytical tools, as appropriate, to support assessments of risk.

  • Manage small initiatives with limited scope within the program or individual project.

  • Support creation and maintenance of runbooks, policies, and procedures, including administrative tasks. Assist/coordinate pre-planning activities.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Facilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders and provide updates as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training

  2. Four years of professional consulting, project analyst or relevant industry experience, with three years of specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation and change management

  3. Strong analytical skills; excellent fact-gathering and business process mapping

  4. Self-starter, highly-motivated, change agent Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills

  5. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience implementing initiatives across a matrix organization

  • Experience with financial measurements and metrics

  • Financial Services experience

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

  • Project and/or program management experience
