Principle Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for building/unpacking/packing displays, according to specification.

  • Sort according to color, shape, size, or product type.

  • Meet daily production requirements including efficiency goals.

  • Must perform counts and verify quantities on product coming to the line.

  • Must use computer system to consume correctly.

  • Ability to follow directions and teach other line workers how to perform tasks.

  • Must serve as back up supervisor, as needed.

  • Depending on location, required to assist in setting up a line, tearing down the line under the direction of the floor supervisor, and a ssist filling out the Product Reconciliation Form by counting product left on line.

  • Must read and understand lot codes on incoming products, verifying goods coming to the line, and accurately apply the principles of lot codes and lot code changes to work tasks.

  • Must reconcile paperwork at the end of shift, ensure accuracy of all required paperwork, and appropriately resolve errors.

  • Assigning responsibilities based on individual strengths and experience, ensuring workloads are balanced.

  • Working with the team to establish clear objectives and develop strategies for achieving them based on the requirements in the specification book.

  • Identifying training needs, providing coaching, and helping team members develop their skills.

  • Identifying and addressing issues that arise, ensuring the team can effectively overcome challenges.

  • Facilitating open communication within the team and with other departments, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.

  • Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

  • Monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting regular inventory checks, and updating the warehouse management system.

  • Enforcing safety rules and regulations, inspecting the warehouse for hazards, and addressing any discrepancies promptly.

  • Notify supervisor of personnel, product, production, or quality related issue.

  • Making sure the team adheres to all company policies and procedures.

  • Providing guidance and support to warehouse staff, including training new hires.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency Perform other duties, as needed.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.

  • Ability to work in production environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.

  • Ability to travel to different locations within local area when needed.

  • Will be required to work 2ndshift as required by production, as necessary.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a production environment.

  • Experience as a team/warehouse lead.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

  • Ability to work within a team, effectively communicating with members.

  • Ability to prioritize work for maximum efficiency.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Must be good with math.
