Job Summary
The role of the Finance Reporting manager is to provide financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc support to the Morrison Healthcare FP&A team. Primary responsibilities will include financial reporting and analysis during the bonus process, budget, forecast, and month-end close. The role will provide key support to the CFO and Senior Leadership team with visibility into sector financial results. Continuously improve processes to increase capabilities and capacity of the team. This role is Hybrid and based in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support in the analysis and preparation of key Compass One Healthcare, Compass North America, and Accounting monthly financial reporting requirements for Sr. Leadership and Morrison CFO
Build relationships and become a Morrison liaison for Compass Finance/Accounting teams
Develop detailed understanding of our financial systems to ensure data is accurately stated in our monthly reports
Support in the preparation of Morrison’s monthly forecast/ month-end close
Continue to improve monthly financial reporting processes and maintain documentation
Investigate and work with Business Unit Finance teams to understand key business drivers impacting financial trends
Support Sr. Leadership in delivering timely and accurate analysis for CEO Leadership Meetings, Compass meetings, and ad hoc requests
Perform all other duties as assigned and required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA or advanced degree favorable.
4+ years of experience in corporate finance required with 2+ years in a similar position preferred.
Work well with people and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods
Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
Ability to learn very quickly and independently
Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally with business partners
