The Director, Human Resources Business Partner provides strategic human resources leadership and aligns with leaders in our Manufacturing & Distribution and Business & Industry Groups . This role will drive business impact as a trusted executive partner, leveraging expertise and experience in organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
This is a Hybrid Role (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu) based in our Atlanta, Houston, or Austin office!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collaborate with the VP HRBP and business executives to engage in business strategy formulation, deeply understanding and contributing to shape the business strategy
Ensure executive leaders are leading with highest criticality business priorities in mind utilizing coaching expertise
Guide effective senior leadership team collaboration and cohesion and ensure senior leadership fully leverage their platform to communicate effectively to their organizations
Work with VP HRBP to develop and deploy organization, talent and culture strategy to focus on the capabilities that matter most to win for the future
Ensure organizational design is fit for purpose with the right structure, roles, and work processes / practices within the broader ABM ecosystem
Deliver change management, organizational effectiveness and communications expertise as organizations evolve and change
Leverage capabilities needed to win and organizational design expertise to determine strategic workforce planning needs, supported by data
Operationalize strategic talent planning, with a focus on critical roles, success profiles, succession, high potential and otherwise critical talent, and effective talent mobility
Continually raise the bar on performance, strategy cascading and goal setting, feedback and coaching, and differentiation
Guide and reinforce all broad company transformation and compliance efforts within the client group, ensuring optimal change management and executive attention
Fully embrace and embed the critical, key ABM leadership and functional behaviors throughout the organization
Leverage employee listening to drive a winning, inclusive culture
Ensure culture is intentionally, contextually focused on high-performance and inclusion
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources including as a strategic HR Business Partner and working within a HR COE/shared services model
A clear, comprehensive understanding on how to drive business strategy through organization, talent and culture strategy
Outstanding consultation, communication and influencing skills throughout the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment balancing multiple projects under tight timeframes and high pressure
Outstanding process and project management discipline
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or Masters degree in HR from a top tier institution
Graduate of an HR rotational program at a firm with a very high standard for performance, mature HR service model, and contemporary HR practices
Track record of exceptional performance and accelerated career progression
Demonstrated ability to build exceptional relationships across a very wide variety of executive stakeholders as an HRBP, simultaneously creating “raving fans” in both the business as well as across the HR function
Very high degree of strategic and executional ambidexterity: equally comfortable creating strategy and working through the details to ensure successful implementation
Exceptional business acumen, evidenced by either a degree in business area and/or work assignments embedded within the business
