Data Operations Analyst II

Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
CareBridge is a provider of technology and services that assist payers and states in caring for patients receiving long-term support services. CareBridge’s services include electronic visit verification (EVV), data aggregation, 24/7-member support, and benefit management. CareBridge is led by a team of healthcare service and technology veterans and is headquartered in East Nashville.
The Data Operations Analyst II will be an integral part of the Data Team in building and scaling processing capabilities, data analysis and reporting. This role will center around supporting inbound data operations and mining complex data for valuable insights to support the team in making high quality, data driven decisions.
The ideal candidate is curious, detailed oriented and has a knack for identifying patterns and data quality issues within sprawling, variable data sets. As a subject matter expert on health care data sets, this role will work closely with data engineers and client facing team members, collaborating often across data, development, product, business development, and other functions to ensure data is utilized effectively. The data analyst will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.
In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively.
How you will make an impact :
Writing complex SQL queries and troubleshooting data extractions.
Validating completeness and accuracy of client data and reporting out data requirement gaps.
Serving as a subject-matter-expert on claims, eligibility, authorization and assessment datasets.
Developing and monitoring metrics related to client data quality and day-to-day operations.
Collaborating with data engineers to automate and scale data processing capabilities.
Identifying and communicating potential data impacts on downstream users.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS/BA degree; up to 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Experience working with health care datasets, specifically claims data strongly strongly preferred.
Strong SQL skills, ability to aggregate and analyze large data sets involving multiple tables and subqueries strongly preferred.
Experience using Git for version control preferred.
Experience working in an agile development environment preferred.
Experience working with a database directly, some experience creating or altering objects preferred.
Experience working with reporting tools to create and maintain dashboards / reports preferred.
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities preferred.
A demonstrated track record of accomplishing goals, managing numerous processes and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and holding yourself and others to a high standard strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
