Are you a skilled and experienced Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Nurse looking for an exciting travel opportunity? CTTX Health is seeking a dedicated BMT RN to join our team and provide exceptional patient care during the travel assignment. As a BMT RN, you will play a crucial role in the care of patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients undergoing bone marrow transplants

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team

  • Monitor and manage potential complications and side effects of bone marrow transplantation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

  • Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with healthcare team members

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care

  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of employment

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Bone Marrow Transplant unit

  • Experience with stem cell collection and infusion

  • Knowledge of bone marrow transplantation procedures and protocols

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed

  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

  • BLS Certification

  • ACLS Certification

  • NIHSS Certification
