Advanced Data Scientist (Sr Business Dvlpmnt Analyst (Data Science Engagement Leader)) for Honeywell International, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Responsible for shaping the design of, managing the implementation, and growing user adoption of data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve decision-making processes in the Commercial functions at Honeywell.

-Additional responsibilities include coordinating projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data-driven best practices are followed throughout the organization.

-Active collaboration includes that with various stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and domain experts, to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities.

-Responsible for ensuring analytics solution alignment with organizational goals and requirements, ultimately driving significant value and fostering data-informed decision-making across the enterprise.

-Job Site: Atlanta, GA

-40 hours/week

-Eligible for Employee Referral Program: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and five (5) years of IT experience. Full term of experience must include: data science, machine learning; commercial analytics; and implementing advanced analytical solutions in a business context. Must possess (2) two years of experience in the following: managing analytics projects and interfacing with internal / external project stakeholders; advanced programming skills in Python and SQL; big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark; on-the-job experience developing, validating, and deploying a wide variety of machine learning algorithms; applying advanced statistical methods (Bayesian inference), multivariate regression, time-series analysis, and deep learning; Advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI to create data visualizations; effectively communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; basic knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their respective data storage, processing, and machine learning services. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
