Our client is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to be apart of their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our accounts receivable processes, from generating invoices to collecting payments and reconciling accounts. salary: $25 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

Billing and Invoicing:

  • Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.

  • Verify billing accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Payment Processing:

  • Process incoming payments and allocate them correctly to customer accounts.

  • Reconcile payments received with outstanding balances and resolve any discrepancies.

Collections Management:

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.

  • Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices.

  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with delinquent customers while maintaining positive relationships.

Account Reconciliation:

  • Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between accounts receivable records and customer payments.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, cash flow projections, and other financial reports.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding collection strategies and process improvements.
