Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves overseeing all activities related to invoice payment processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role also includes the use of SAP and Concur systems to manage and track payments and expenditures. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily invoice processing and payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement, maintain and review payable procedures and policies to enhance process improvement.
• Manage the Accounts Payable email inbox to resolve vendor inquiries and invoice issues efficiently.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and assist in month-end closing activities, preparing related reports as needed.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Utilize SAP and Concur systems to process and track payments and expenditures.
• Maintain accurate vendor files and manage vendor relations.
• Support internal and external audits as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems for efficient data management.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services for payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience with Concur for travel and expense management.
• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrating business processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions for maintaining financial health.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) for managing company's bills and invoices.
• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting for recording company's financial transactions.
• Strong auditing skills for ensuring accuracy and compliance with established controls.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic funds transfer.
