Aerotek 1st Shift Electromechanical Technician in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

You will be part of the maintenance PM team for all five plants at our plant complex. Your primary responsibilities will include completing preventive maintenance on machinery, maintaining manufacturing equipment, and performing reactive maintenance as breakdowns occur. You will support the production team, focus on machine reliability, and work towards reducing downtime using CMMS for PM tracking.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics

  • 480v motor, multimeter, gears, sprockets, pumps, rollers

  • PLC, PLC troubleshooting, relay logic, gearboxes

  • 480v, 24v, 110v, AC/DC Drives

  • Strong Electro Mechanical maintenance tech with 8+ years of experience

  • Able to read Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Schematics

  • Understand Ohm's Law, Watt's Law, and Kirchhoff's Laws

  • Competent electrically and understand electrical theory

  • Able to troubleshoot AC/DC Drives and understand Relay Logic

  • Experience with metal rolling and metal stamping

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience preferred

  • Strong electrical background

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, large industrial complex. Training will occur Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (40-45 hours a week) with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. You will work one Saturday a month. After training, you will transition to a 2-2-3 day shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
