Administrative Clerk,Starr Cardiology Office Job Type:Full-time,DayShift
Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the unit including updating and organizing information on the unit; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the supervisor; and responding to inquiries and requests from patients,visitorsand caregivers.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: * Facilitates communications among caregivers,patientsand visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. * Collects payments from patients * Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery. * Coordinates daily patient flow activities. * Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions tomaintaininventory levels. * Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages. * Faxes andphotocopiesinformation as requested by staff.
