Boehringer Ingelheim Technician II, Formulation 2nd shift in Athens, Georgia
Description
The Technician II, Formulation will manufacture animal health vaccine medias/solutions following defined procedures and regulations for raw material management and media production.
This role will be 1st shift during the training period and 2ns shift from there on.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for performing the activities associated with raw material management and the preparation of medias according to USDA regulations.
Ensures compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.
Assists with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills.
Completes/Reviews in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation.
Participates in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances.
Demonstrates a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives.
Assesses individual performance regarding the continuous improvement (AAI).
Participates and provides support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management).
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Biology Degree or related field, one (1) year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
Basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
Eligibility Requirements :
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
