Columbia Memorial Hospital Manager - Pharmacy in Astoria, Oregon

The pharmacy manager position is responsible for the operation and management of the inpatient and infusion pharmacy operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications throughout the hospital system. The pharmacy manager acts as the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Leader. In addition, they organize and implement pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with established policies of the hospital and standards of good pharmacy practice.
Job Requirements Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team. Must demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills. Ability to set priorities and make critical decisions.
License/Certification Currently licensed as pharmacist with Oregon State Board of Pharmacy Current BLS certification upon hire required and kept current henceforth ACCP Board Certification preferred Education and/or Experience BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred, Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred; Five years hospital pharmacist; supervisory experience preferred
