Nestle Junior Transport Planner in Assago, Italy

Position Summary

You will be part of T-Hub South organization located in Assago (Nestlé HQ). T-Hub South has the responsibility to deliver on time and efficiently our goods to our customers, its perimeter extends from Iberia to Greece, Italy included. You will be part of the Planning and Scheduling team dedicated to planning, optimizing and assigning shipments accordingly either with our customer needs and internal stakeholders’ requests, supported by the team and tools. You will have the chance to understand our supply chain network and to be involved in its improvement with colleagues from other markets around the world.

A day in the life of Transportation Optimizer & Scheduling Specialist

Utilize our tools (SAP TM, Excel…) to create and plan shipments 

  • Ensure customer requirements being respected

  • Ensure compliance with operational cutoffs 

  • Be cost and service level driven

  • Guarantee the achievement of KPIs based on agreed timings

  • Create a strong connection with Warehouse, DSP and Customer Service 

  • Being involved in continuous improvement activities (new projects, new developments…)

  • Challenge yourself to improve your job and develop new skills  

What will make you successful

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics

  • Previous experience in Operations is a plus 

  • Advanced MS Office Skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point..) 

  • SAP Skills is a plus 

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Pragmatical and fact-based mindset

  • Capability to work in team

  • Proactive and curious person 

  • Ability and interest in working in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment
