What You’ll Do:
Works independently with some guidance for more complex issues in the support of emergency preparedness and resiliency efforts for the operating companies and Transmission. Responsible for the development of the response roles, processes, procedures and training materials and monitoring the effectiveness. Develops and provides training in support of emergency preparedness and resiliency efforts. Plans and implements department improvement initiatives. Collaborates with operating companies and Transmission personnel in the review and updates of response and resiliency plans. Identifies, develops and trains additional emergency and resiliency roles, responsibilities and processes as needed. Solves a range of complex issues that requires knowledge and experience in emergency management, emergency preparedness and resiliency. Responsibilities are complex or highly complex in nature; position is reserved for employees who display expert level competencies.

What We’re Looking For:
Assists with the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and resiliency strategies for the operating companies and Transmission
Lead emergency response and resiliency benchmarking efforts
Help to identify the need for and availability of emerging technologies designed to provide efficiencies during response efforts
Design and conduct exercises, drills and training to ensure resiliency and emergency response readiness
Facilitate after action debriefs for training and exercises; identify areas for improvement (AFI)Collaborate with operating companies and Transmission to ensure AFIs are addressed timely
Identify and lead emergency restoration planning and resiliency initiatives across the operating companies and Transmission
Evaluate plan understanding and adherence to assess operating company and Transmission preparedness
Identify and incorporate improvement areas within response and resiliency plans
Assist with mutual assistance responsibilities during major events
Assist with emergency response evaluations both during and following actual response events
Maintain emergency and resiliency documentation for operating companies and Transmission
Provide support for the applications utilized within the department and for response events
What You’ll Get:
Education: Bachelors’ degree
Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience with 4 years preferably working in a field operating organization including experience in coordinating, developing and documenting emergency response and resiliency plans; experience developing, supporting and facilitating exercises, drills and training or equivalent related experience. Understanding of the Incident Command System roles and responsibilities. Experience with process development and process mapping is preferred.

Requires the ability and willingness to handle stressful situation and assist others in stressful situations routinely.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours with little to no advance notice, be on call, work off-hours and be called back to work due to significant events.
Good interpersonal skills in working with all levels of leadership.
Requires the ability to manage internal relationships and maintain a collaborative environmentHighly effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Travel 15-25%

$112,869.00-146,730.50 USD
