JOB TITLE Assembler II - 2nd Shift
Assembler II - Ultra Low Temp Freezers - 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $14.75/hr
Position Summary: Works on a production line manufacturing product. Performs a wide variety of product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Follows standard operating procedures in the production / assembly process according to design specifications, company quality standards, and safety procedures. Visually inspects the unit before passing to the next cell. Fully engages with team and other associates to troubleshoot problems and drive continuous improvement in the plant. Performs other duties, provides support and coverage on all operations on line as requested by supervisor. Cross training and flexibility required.
Standing, bending, reaching and handling bulky parts is common to the job. Frequently lifts up to 35 pounds.
Requires high school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, interpret and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints as shown in SOE. Ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels and work instructions.
Beginner Computer skills or willingness to learn.
Manufacturing and experience using small hand and power tools is preferred.
