MOREL INDUSTRIES, INC. AP & Production Inventory Clerk in ARLINGTON, Washington

*Accounts Payable Duties: *

  1. Responsible for accounts payable: coding, entry, and controls.
  2. Coordinate with other personnel to ensure invoices are being processed correctly and in compliance with purchasing policies.
  3. Maintain vendor information: address, W-9 information, EFT information, payment terms, and obtain the initial Certificate of Insurance.
  4. Maintain files of electronic invoice copies for sales tax purposes and prepare monthly sales tax return as required.
  5. Keep purchase order control, maintain receiving documentation and invoices in electronic open files. Verify data by matching to receiving documentation or receiving detail in A/S 400.
  6. Assist with year-end audit. Pull A/P invoices and other records per auditor request.
  7. Perform month-end duties as required: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and basic expense account review.
  8. Back up and relief for Bookkeeper as needed.
  9. Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned.

Production Inventory Duties:

  1. Coordinate the collection and receipt of all daily, weekly, and monthly production, scrap metal, and shipping data to prepare reports.
  2. Assist supervisors and managers with production and scrap reporting.
  3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, specifically data entry. Orders entered from time-punched production cards.
  4. Help Accounts Receivable with Heat Treat invoices.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of client products. Adhere to ISO standards.
  6. Responsible for the filing of customer orders entered.
  7. Continual maintenance and cleanup of the work orders to assure data accuracy.
  8. Respond to customer calls/emails and fulfill requests for information. 
  9. Manage the outsourcing of parts or cores when necessary.
  10. Setup jobs moving to machine shop in the product master.
  11. Review all incoming orders: check details against quote, identify and include any special order requirements, enter order data into business system, create work orders, and generate mail order acknowledgement with line item prices.
  12. Support accounting month-end reporting by posting date, helping with detailed reports, understand and correct work orders.
  13. Support bookkeeping and management by researching problems on work orders.
  14. Document operations by keeping logs of jobs processed, failures, corrective actions.
