Job Description
Overview
Our Client is looking for a Backend Developer to support their modernization efforts within their Department of Education portfolio. Candidate will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Responsibilities
· Provide support to develop Web based applications including online customer service to transform government agencies to be able to deliver their services online.
· Provide support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website.
· Provide support for the implementation of interfaces to applications. Working knowledge and experience coding in Java is required.
· Knowledge of several of the following areas is desirable: Active Server Pages, Java, Spring API Framework, Spring Batch, DBMS's (ex. - Oracle, Sybase, etc.) and knowledge of SQL in SQL server.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves
· Public Trust clearance (ideally FedCiv) or clearable
· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field
· 4-10 years of Backend development experience
· 4+ years of experience using Java
· 4+ years of experience using Spring API framework
· 4+ years of experience using Spring Batch null
