GCyber Physical and Personnel Security Specialist in Arlington, Virginia
GCyber is seeking a Physical and Personnel Security Specialist to support a DoD customer’s secure facilities and personnel security operations. This role includes physical security accreditation support, visitor and access management, facilities coordination, and security compliance oversight in a multi-classification environment. The position requires on-call availability for emergency facility incidents.
As the Physical and Personnel Security Specialist, you will:
Conduct facility security assessments and maintain accreditation documentation (e.g., FFC, MOA, CUA)
Manage access control systems, alarm coordination, and IDS in partnership with PFPA and security offices
Support in/out-processing, VARs, and clearance tracking for classified meetings and events
Maintain personnel security records, polygraph status, and annual training compliance
Respond to facility issues and provide after-hours support for emergencies (‚â§2-hour response)
Track secure equipment inventory and manage classified material handling and destruction
Maintain SOPs, escort visitors, and support emergency action plans and room readiness
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
DoD 8570 IAT II certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
12+ years in enterprise architecture or digital engineering roles supporting DoD IT systems.
Strong experience with MBSE, DoDAF architecture products, and ICAM integration.
