The Role

HII has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Strategy Manager in our Arlington, VA office!

In this role, you will be responsible for improving company operational performance and throughput by:

Taking a leadership role in developing corporate and business unit investment strategies

Developing strategic partnerships with industry, technology, and supplier partners

Identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to streamline operations

Developing supply chain strategies to improve on-time delivery of material

Supporting major capture campaigns

Managing execution of enterprise initiatives by partnering with stakeholders across the company

Leading internal teams and coordinating closely with initiative owners to develop and execute value creation plans, roadmaps and business cases

Preparing materials for the CEO, division presidents, Board of Directors, and external senior stakeholders

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

Experience in defense, shipbuilding, operations, manufacturing, and/or supply chain

Prior experience in management consulting or internal consulting

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance

Strong analytical ability
