Job Summary

Alluvionic is seeking  a Program Manager I who will be responsible for providing support to the USMS Office of Professional Responsibility-Compliance (OPR-C) program.  The individual performing in this position must take direction well and work independently.  The Program Manager I will assist the OPR-C management by providing oversight and guidance for planned and ongoing projects such as Inspections, Self-Assessment Guide (SAG), and Quality Assurance activities to help ensure the efficient operation of the agency’s programs.  

Clearance Required:  Yes – Obtain a Public Trust

Travel is Required: As Needed 0-10%

This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities :

  • Assists with the management, planning, coordination, administration, and execution of all programs within Compliance. 

  • Compiles data from various sources, providing data analysis and recommending process improvements

  • Provide expert analysis and advice on Division/District/agency-wide programs or issues of national impact and apply advanced techniques to interpret and evaluate findings resulting from analysis.

  • Establishes and maintains a centralized repository for Compliance Inspection data to accurately report on component’s assessment activities.

  • Oversees ongoing projects and meets with internal agency division/program process owners as needed. 

  • Interprets existing procedures, regulations, and USMS policies related to Compliance program activities. 

  • Monitors policy changes to ensure the accuracy of inspection test plans and component dashboards.  

  • Serves as technical writer for all Compliance program activities.  

  • Prepares and edits reports, memoranda, briefing papers, and other written material for internal and external use. 

  • Reviews Inspection reports and dashboards for accuracy and completeness and creates macros to automate tasks related to Inspection result data.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Three - five years of specialized experience related to technical writing and software applications.

  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat DC, PowerApps, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, or Tableau.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships beyond the work unit. 

  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality. 

  • Must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to pivot quickly when required are necessary.
