Team Overview:
The DRT Corporate Accounting Team is responsible for the day-to-day financial and business operations of the company. This team processes vendor invoices and customer receipts, executes payroll, liaises with the leasing agent, and is responsible for a wide variety of general business functions.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for operating accounting functions across multiple areas: A/P, A/R, General Ledger, payroll, etc. The ideal candidate will understand the accounting life cycle and how these functions result in financial statement preparation. DRT and the Accounting function are fast-paced organizations, with multiple deadlines that must be met – focusing on meeting deadlines is critical for success. We are looking for a problem-solver and self-starter, who possesses very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall Accounts Receivable function and Accounts Payable function
Responsible for accuracy of employee timecards and employee expenses
Responsible for miscellaneous filings throughout the year: revenue reports, quarterly GSA reporting, etc.
Review and confirmation of monthly revenue
Review, reconciliation, and invoicing of customer expenses
Supporting the Manager with the annual financial audit, miscellaneous tax filings and the annual 401(k) audit
Special projects as they arise
Other duties as assigned
Require Experience:
7-10 years of relevant experience
Must have Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience in federal government contracting space
Experience with Unanet
Must be proactive, adaptable and possess learning agility
Experience collaborating with teams, and functioning as a team player
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on needs and expectations
Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education & Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or Business with concentration in Accounting)
Salary Range:
$90,000-$130,000
Salary commensurate with experience.
